Flame retardant gelcoats for hand application (Р)
Gelcoats 1600 R – used in the production of polyester-glass laminates to form the outer coating. Suitable for roller and brush application.
Flammability classes (laminate): Laminate based on Polimal 1601 P and Gelcoat 1600 P meets R1 requirements according to EN 45545-2: 2013 for safety level HL1 and HL2.
Gelcoats 1602 P are mainly designed for free-standing objects and elements placed outside the premises. For example: switchboards. Contains antimony trioxide.
Flammability classes (laminate): Certificate of the Fire Protection Research Center, allowing laminated panels based on Polimal 1602 APyS for cladding, wall and ceiling coverings and interior fittings.
Gelcoats 1605 P are highly filled flame retardants with limited smoke generation. Designed, in particular, for railway rolling stock. Contains antimony trioxide.
Flammability classes (laminate): CNTK tests (laminate from Polimal 1605) non-combustible material – P1 speed of flame propagation over the surface – R2 smoke intensity – D2.
Gelcoats 1608 P are gelcoats based on isophthalic resin. Highly filled fire retardants. Designed, in particular, for railway rolling stock: they meet the requirements for materials for the production of ceilings. Contains new generation flame retardants. Antimony trioxide free, practically halogen free.
Flammability classes (laminate): according to DIN 5510 – 2 (laminate made of Polimal 1608 with a Gelcoat layer 1608): flammability: S4 smoke generation class: SR2 consistency class (density): ST2.
